Analysis
This resolution authorizes engineering studies on projects which by City Charter are nonassessable. After design plans and estimates of costs have been prepared, a resolution authorizing construction will be submitted to the Common Council. The City cost for engineering these projects is estimated to be $198,000 with the total cost estimated to be $3,187,000.
Body
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it is necessary and in the public interest to do the following described improvements according to City specifications:

1st Aldermanic District

N. Teutonia Ave. - W. Capitol Dr. to W. Ruby Ave. (SM495140065): Sanitary lining and storm relay. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $15,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $1,458,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2015 construction season.

N. Teutonia Ave. - W. Capitol Dr. to W. Ruby Ave. (WT410150001): Hydrant alteration. (Nonassessable Water Fund Budget Line 5010 -- $7,000; Nonassessable Water Fund Budget Line 6410 -- $8,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $160,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2015 construction season.

4th Aldermanic District

Highland Community School Bioswales - 1706 W. Highland Blvd. and on W. Juneau Ave. - N. 17th St. to N. 18th St. (SM493130110): (Storm Water Quality - Nonassessable Water Quality Projects to meet TMDL Requirements -- $1,000).
