Analysis
This ordinance provides that any person who violates s. 106-34.5 of the code of ordinances, which prohibits prostitution and related and similar activities, shall, upon conviction, be fined not less than $500 nor more than $5,000, together with the costs of prosecution, and in default of payment shall be imprisoned as provided by law.  
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
 
Part 1.  Section 106-34.5-3 of the code is created to read:
 
106-34.5.  Prostitution.   
 
3.  PENALTY.  Any person who violates any provision of this section shall, upon conviction, be fined not less than $500 nor more than $5,000, together with the costs of prosecution, and in default of payment shall be imprisoned as provided by law.
