Analysis
This resolution will approve and authorize the execution of a stipulation with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation and the Canadian Pacific Railway Company for the reconstruction of the West North Avenue Bridge over the railroad tracks between North 30th Street and North 31st Street.
Body
Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted Resolution File Number 060882 authorizing and directing the Commissioner of Public Works to execute an agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for the reconstruction of the West North Avenue Bridge over the Canadian Railway tracks between North 30th Street and North 31st Street using Federal and State Aid under the Local Bridge Replacement and Rehabilitation Program; and

Whereas, Negotiations have taken place between the Canadian Pacific Railway Company and the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, acting on behalf of the City of Milwaukee, to negotiate a stipulation regarding the reconstruction and maintenance of the overpass; and

Whereas, The Canadian Pacific Railway Company has forwarded the stipulation document to the City of Milwaukee for formal approval and upon execution; the City of Milwaukee will forward the stipulation document to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for their execution; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the stipulation between the City of Milwaukee, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation and the Canadian Pacific Railway Company, for the reconstruction and maintenance of the West North Avenue Bridge...
