Analysis
This resolution directs the Department of City Development to prepare a resolution to vacate said right-of-way in accordance with vacation proceedings under power granted to the City of Milwaukee by Section 62.73, Wisconsin Statutes, and Section 308-28, Milwaukee Code of Ordinances. This vacation was requested by the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee to allow for a certified survey map that will split adjacent lands into two parcels that can be sold for future development.

Whereas, It has been proposed by the Department of City Development that a portion of North 31st Street, west side, at West Hopkins Street be vacated pursuant to the provisions of Section 62.73, Wisconsin Statutes; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Department of City Development is directed to prepare a resolution to vacate said right-of-way in accordance with Section 308-28 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances.
