Resolution relative to the cost participation and installation of traffic signal improvements at the intersection of North Sherman Boulevard and West Fond du Lac Avenue under a Highway Safety Improvement Program project in the 7th Aldermanic District at a total estimated cost of $66,756.65, with an estimated grantor share of $45,000, and an estimated City share of $21,756.65, and to install these improvements upon execution of the agreement. This resolution also authorizes the Comptroller to establish and transfer funds to the appropriate accounts for the project. The total estimated cost of the entire project is $307,756.65, with a grantor share of $243,000, and a City share of $64,756.65.

Whereas, A Project Agreement for the installation of traffic signal and other geometric improvements at the intersection of North Sherman Boulevard and West Fond du Lac Avenue under the 2015 Highway Safety Improvement Program was approved by the Common Council under File Number 101057 and revised under Common Council File Number 120233; and

Whereas, The Highway Safety Improvement Program provides cost participation for traffic signal and other improvements to reduce the frequency and severity of vehicle and pedestrian crashes; and

Whereas, The total estimated cost for the of installation of traffic signal improvements for this project is $58,049.26; and

Whereas, The total estimated cost for state review for the project is $8,707.39; and
