Title
A substitute ordinance to further amend the 2014 offices and positions in the City Service.

Analysis
This substitute ordinance changes positions in the following departments:
Department of City Development, Employes’ Retirement System, Fire and Police Commission

Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 130420 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:

Under “Fire and Police Commission, Homeland Security”, change footnote “(C)” to read as follows: “Homeland Security/UASI Planning Position Grant: Position authority to expire 12/31/2014 unless the Homeland Security/UASI Planning Grant is extended.”

Part 2. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 130420 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 1, 2014 - December 22, 2013):

Under the “Department of City Development, General Management and Policy Development Decision Unit, Finance and Administration”, delete one position of “Resource and Administration Manager” and one position of “Grant Budget Analyst”; and add one position of “Human Resources Officer” and one position of “Grant Budget Specialist”.

Under “Employes’ Retirement System, Management Support Services”, delete one position of “Employes’ Retirement System Database and Research Analyst” and add one position of “ERS Business Operations Analyst”.

Part 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

Part 4. The provisions of Part 2 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 1, 2014 (December 22, 2013).

The provisions of all other parts of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after the first day of the first pay period following passage and publication.
