Analysis
This resolution will approve and authorize the execution of an Overhead Highway Bridge Easement between the City of Milwaukee and the Canadian Pacific Railway Company for the reconstruction of the West Lisbon Avenue Bridge (3100 West) over the Canadian Pacific Railway tracks.
Body
Whereas, Negotiations have taken place between the Canadian Pacific Railway Company and the City of Milwaukee to finalize an Overhead Highway Bridge Easement regarding the reconstruction of the bridge overpass; and

Whereas, The easement is needed to accommodate street light blisters on the new bridge structure and concrete leveling pads for the four bridge retaining walls that will encroach into a portion of the Canadian Pacific Railway Company right-of way; and

Whereas, The Canadian Pacific Railway Company has forwarded the Overhead Highway Bridge Easement document to the City of Milwaukee for formal approval; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Overhead Highway Bridge Easement between the City of Milwaukee and the Canadian Pacific Railway Company for the reconstruction of the West Lisbon Avenue Bridge (3100 West) over the Canadian Pacific Railway tracks is hereby approved, a copy of which is attached to Common Council Resolution File Number 131719 and incorporated in this resolution by reference as though set forth therein in full; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the Commissioner of Public Works and Comptroller are herby authorized and directed to execute said Overhead Highway Bridge Easement on the City’s behalf; and, be it
