Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee on 11/05/13 approved the anticipated HUD funding awards for the 2014 program year as follows: Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) $14,000,000; HOME Investment Partnership (HOME) $4,000,000; Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) $965,312 and Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA) $509,907; and

Whereas, The Community Development Grants Administration (CDGA) was notified by HUD that the actual 2014 funding awards are as follows: CDBG $14,986,505; HOME $4,673,827; ESG $1,236,883 and HOPWA $587,478; and

Whereas, The increase for CDBG is $986,505, an increase for HOME is $673,827 and increase for ESG is $271,571 and an increase for HOPWA is $77,571. Refer to Attachment A for specific allocation details; now therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee hereby approves the changes to the 2014 HUD awards as stated In Attachment A; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the Community Development Grants Administration is responsible for awarding Subrecipient contracts for these approved activities; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the Subrecipient organizations shall submit budget and activity reports in amounts and according to any conditions approved by the Common Council and in accordance with File Number 74-92-5v, to the Community Development Grants Administration and the City Comptroller for review and approval; and, be it

Further Resolved, That payments for all cost incurred shall be paid in accordance with approved reimbursement policy based on the approval by the Community Development Grants Administration and the City Comptroller; and, be it
