Analysis
This resolution authorizes the Commissioner of Public Works and Comptroller to enter into a funding agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for installation of a traffic control signal at the intersection of West Center Street and North 22nd Street under the 2008 Safe Routes to School Program (SRTS) in the 15th Aldermanic District. The total estimated cost of construction is $70,824.30, with one hundred percent of the total cost funded by Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WISDOT). These improvements will be installed upon execution of the agreement. This resolution also authorizes the Comptroller to establish and transfer funds to the appropriate accounts for the project. Whereas, The installation of a traffic control signal at West Center Street and North 22nd Street is estimated to cost $70,824.30; and
