Analysis
This resolution grants a special privilege to Bridgestone Retail Operations LLC to keep and maintain a roof projection in the public right-of-way for the premises 3540 South 27th Street.
Body
Whereas, The applicant is requesting permission to keep and maintain an existing roof projection in the public right-of-way; and

Whereas, Said roof projection may only legally encroach into the public right-of-way by granting of a special privilege resolution adopted by the Common Council; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that Bridgestone Retail Operations LLC, 333East Lake Street, Bloomingdale, IL 60108 is hereby granted the following special privilege:

To construct, keep, and maintain a roof projection projecting 6 feet into the east, variable width sidewalk area of South 27th Street. Said roof projection commences at a point approximately 250 feet south of the southline of West Morgan Avenue and extends south 48 feet. Said roof projection projects into the public more than the 3 feet allowed by Section 245-4-1 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances.

Said above-mentioned roof projection shall be used, kept and maintained to the satisfaction of the Commissioners of Public Works and Department of Neighborhood Services. All necessary permits shall have been obtained prior to the granting of this special privilege.

Said roof projection shall be maintained or removed from the public right-of-way, at such future time as it is no longer needed, to the satisfaction of the Commissioners of Public Works and Department of Neighborhood Services.
