Mr. Runner asked that the Attachment A to this file be amended as follows: 1. Increase the recommended funding for the request titled "Department of CIty Development - New Construction" by $220,000, from $0 to $220,000. 2. Reducing the recommended funding for the request titled "Department of City Development - Owner-Occupied Targeted Investment Neighborhoods" by $185,000, from $865,000 to $680,000. 3. Reducing the recomnmended funding for the request titled "Department of City Development - Rental Rehab Targeted Investment Neighborhoods" by $35,000, from $135,000 to $100,000. Ald. Substitute resolution relating to the use and allocation of HOME Investment Partnership reprogramming funds.

Body
Whereas, The amount of HOME Investment Partnership funds available for reprogramming is $1,312,015; and

Whereas, The Community and Economic Development Committee recommends approval to allocate funding in the amount of $1,312,015 to the organizations in Attachment A for reprogramming; and

Whereas, Attachment A is amended to fund DCD-Owner-Occupied at $865,000 and DCD Rental Rehab at $135,000; and

Whereas, The 2008 DCD HOME Entitlement funds for the Rental Rehab activity is reduced from $399,000 to $179,000 and the activity of Housing Production (Acquire/Rehab/Sell & New Construction) is funded at $220,000 for 2008; now therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that reprogramming awards are approved for the organizations in Attachment A; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the Community Development Grants Administration is responsible for awarding a subrecipient contract for these approved activities; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the subrecipient organizations shall submit budget and activity reports in amounts and according to any conditions approved by the Common Council and in accordance with File Number 74-92-5v, to the Community Development Grants Administration and the City Comptroller for review and approval; and, be it

Further Resolved, That payments for HOME cost incurred shall be paid in accordance with approved HOME reimbursement policy based on the approval by the Community Development Grants Administration and the City Comptroller; and, be it

Further Resolved, That except as modified by this resolution, the guidelines for handling the Community Development Block Grant Program set forth in Common council File Number 74-92-5v are fully applicable to the 2008 Community Development Entitlement Funding Program. ...
