Title

A substitute ordinance to further amend the 2008 offices and positions in the City Service under control of the Common Council.

 

Analysis

This substitute ordinance makes positions changes to the following departments:

Fire Department, Health Department and Library

 

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

 

Part 1.  Section 1 of ordinance File Number 070605 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:

 

Under “Milwaukee Public Library, Central Library Decision Unit, Youth outreach Services Section”, delete footnote designation “(X)” from one position of “Management Librarian” and add footnote designation “(X)” to one position of “Library Education Outreach Specialist.”

 

Under “Health Department, Family and Community Health Services, Maternal & Child Health Division”, add the title “Ecocultural Family Interview Assessment Grant (D)” and add one position of “Health Project Coordinator (X) (D)” and one position of “Office Assistant III (D)” and add footnote “(D)” to read as follows: “To expire 3/26/09 unless the Ecocultural Family Interview Assessment Grant from the University of Wisconsin-School of Medicine and Public Health, is extended.”

 

Under “Fire Department, Supporting Services Decision Unit, Metropolitan Medical Response System Program Grant”, amend footnote “(A)” to read as follows: “To expire 5/1/10 unless the Metropolitan Medical Response System Program Grant is extended.”

Part 2.  All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

 

Part 3.  The provisions of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after the first day of the first pay period following passage and publication.

 

Part 4.  This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
