Title:

Substitute resolution amending Resolution File Number 061071, relating to Milwaukee Board of School Directors for Police Services project at Bradley Tech and Custer High Schools.

 

Analysis:

This resolution amends Resolution File Number #061071, adopted on February 6, 2007, which approved a Milwaukee Board of School Directors for Police Services project (School Resource Officers at Bradley Tech and Custer High Schools), so that the Police Department can accept additional grant funding of $75,000 for the period 08/27/07 through 01/25/08 for a grant total of $150,000.

 

Body:

Whereas, The Common Council adopted Resolution File Number 061071 on February 6, 2007, approving a Milwaukee Board of School Directors for Police Services project (School Resource Officers at Bradley Tech and Custer High Schools); and

 

Whereas, Additional funding of $75,000 for the period 02/27/07 through 01/25/08 has been provided by the Milwaukee Public Schools; now, therefore, be it

 

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that Resolution File Number 061071 adopted on February 6, 2007, is amended by deleting the amount “$75,000” in the 2nd “Further Resolved” clause under Item 1, and inserting in lieu thereof the amount “$150,000”, thereby increasing the grant by $75,000.
