Analysis
This resolution authorizes the Department of Administration-Community Development Grants Administration Division to expend $25,000 from a special fund for certain housing trust purposes.
Body
Whereas, The Common Council adopted Resolution File Number 060524 reallocating $25,000 previously reserved within the harassment Settlement Trust Account in the Permanent Improvement Fund for the hiring of a consultant to a new special fund in the Department of Administration for housing trust activities; and
Whereas, This special fund is to be used for housing and other housing-related services; and
Whereas, Expenditure of the funds for such purposes requires Common Council approval; and
Whereas, The Community Development Grants Administration Division plans to expend the $25,000 for programmatic operating costs; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Community Development Grants Administration Division is hereby authorized to expend up to $25,000 from the Department of Administration special fund for the purposes identified above.
