Analysis
This resolution authorizes the Commissioner of Public Works to enter into a contract with Prime Financial Credit Union to provide financial services to City of Milwaukee employees at the City Hall Complex including a credit union branch in the Zeidler Municipal Building West Lobby.
Body
Whereas, City of Milwaukee employees desire to have a financial institution located in the City Hall Complex to serve their financial needs; and

Whereas, The Department of Public Works placed a request for proposal for a financial institution to provide requested financial services to City of Milwaukee employees as well as revenue to the City of Milwaukee by occupying a currently unused space in the City Hall Complex; and

Whereas, A financial institution, Prime Financial Credit Union, has responded to this request for proposal and negotiated tentative terms with City of Milwaukee representatives; and

Whereas, Approximately 35% (2,550 of 7,316) of city employees have either direct deposit or payroll deduction with Prime Financial Credit Union and a substantial number of City Hall Complex employees as well as the nearby general public will likely avail themselves of the proposed branch; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Commissioner of Public Works, acting on behalf of the City of Milwaukee, is hereby authorized and directed to negotiate a contract with Prime Financial Credit Union to provide financial services at the City Hall Complex; and, be it
