Title

Substitute ordinance relating to the change in zoning from Single-Family Residential to Local Business on land located East of North 15th Street and North of West Fond du Lac Avenue, in the 15th Aldermanic District.

Analysis

This substitute ordinance will allow for the sale of a 15-foot strip of City-owned land to the abutting property owner to the South. The properties will be combined for the construction of a day care center.

Body

Resolved, That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, do ordain as follows:

 

Part 1. There is added to the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances a new section to read as follows:

 

Section 295-601.2.0032. The zoning map is amended to change the zoning for the area bounded and described by the zoning line within North 15th Street, a line 319 feet South and parallel to the south line of West Brown Street, a line 160 feet East and parallel to the east line of North 15th Street, and a line 304 feet South and parallel to the south line of West Brown Street, from Single-Family Residential (RS6) to Local Business (LB2).
