Title

Resolution relative to the 2008 Capital Improvements Program to provide funds for traffic sign and signal work at various locations.

Analysis

This resolution provides funds for traffic control alterations at various locations in response to changes in traffic patterns and paving projects, and authorizes 2008 fund transfers for the general purposes indicated.

Body

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Department of Public Works is hereby directed to modify and/or install traffic control signs and signals at various locations; and, be it

 

Further Resolved, That the Comptroller's Office is directed to transfer from the Traffic Control Facilities budget, Account Number ST220080000, up to $700,000 to the general purpose sub-accounts indicated as follows:

Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is directed to transfer funds as required without further Common Council authorization, the total amount of such transfer shall not exceed the amount authorized in the 2008 Traffic Control Facilities budget.
