Analysis

This resolution accepts a sewer and water easement SE-2500A & WE-672A; located in Metz Holdings, Inc.’s property, with the purpose to maintain an existing City owned combined sewer and water main. The easement is located over a portion of vacated North 10^th Street and over a portion of vacated West Somers Street.

Body

Whereas, In 1989 the City of Milwaukee vacated a portion of North 10^th Street and a portion of West Somers Street; and

Whereas, As a part of the vacation, Metz Holdings, Inc. was required to grant a sewer and water easement to the City over the vacated portions of North 10^th Street and West Somers Street; and

Whereas, Sewer and water easement SE-2500A & WE-672A, will give the City access to construct, operate, maintain, inspect, repair, enlarge, reconstruct or relocate the sewer and water facilities located within the vacated areas; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the City of Milwaukee hereby accepts Sewer and Water Easement SE-2500A & WE-672A, said Sewer and Water Easement document being attached to Common Council File Number 071042 and incorporated in this resolution by reference as though set forth in full; and, be it

Further Resolved, That after said Easement document has been accepted, the easement document shall be forwarded to he City Attorney for approval as to for and execution and then to the Department of Public Works for recording and distribution.
