Analysis

This resolution grants an easement to the City of Greenfield for the restoration and maintenance of a storm drainage ditch on the north side of the City of Milwaukee owned property at 5353 South 43^rd Street (Milwaukee Water Works Grange Pumping Station).

Body

Whereas, Storm water drainage from public and private property in the City of Greenfield flows through the drainage ditch located on the City of Milwaukee property at 5353 South 43^rd Street (Milwaukee Water Works Grange Pumping Station) prior to entering the public storm sewer in South 43^rd Street; and

Whereas, The City of Greenfield is responsible for maintaining said drainage ditch; and

Whereas, The City of Greenfield requires a permanent easement, as shown on Exhibit “A” of the attached easement document, on said property to restore and maintain said storm drainage ditch; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that an easement is granted to the City of Greenfield and the proper City Officers are hereby authorized to execute the easement document, a copy of which is attached to and part of this resolution; and, be it

Further Resolved, That after said easement has been executed by the proper City Officers, it shall be forwarded to the Department of Public Works for recording and proper distribution.
