The question was put: Have the members of the Common Council read the Report and Recommendation of the Licenses Committee and any exceptions filed in these matters? All members indicated that they had done so. The question was put: Are the following individuals or their attorneys present and, if so, do they wish to address the Common Council? Humphrey Nangah was present by counsel. Frank Dobert was present by counsel. Ald. Witkowiak moved that the Common Council resolve itself into the Committee of the Whole for the purpose of taking testimony in these matters. There was no objection. Puente moved that the Common Council resolve itself into a Committee of the Whole for the purpose of receiving information from the office of the City Attorney relating to what matters the Common Council may consider in its deliberations of a Licenses Committee motion.
