Body
Whereas, George Prentice d/b/a LaCage Tavern requested permission to construct and maintain a concrete platform with steps and handrails in the public right-of-way; and

Whereas, Permission for said concrete platform with steps and handrails was granted in 2002 under Common Council File Number 020757; and

Whereas, LaCage Enterprises LLC now owns the property; and

Whereas, For the liability to be formally transferred to the current property owner, the Common Council needs to adopt an amending resolution; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that Common Council File Number 020757 is hereby rescinded; and, be it

Further Resolved, That LaCage Enterprises LLC, 12840 Falcon Drive, Brookfield, WI 53005, is hereby granted the following special privilege:

To keep and maintain a concrete platform with steps and handrails in the west, 8-foot 6-inch wide sidewalk area of South 2nd Street centered approximately 54 feet south of the southline of West National Avenue. Said 4-foot 1-inch wide platform and steps project 2 feet 7 inches into the public way.

Said platform with steps shall be used, kept and maintained to the satisfaction of the Commissioners of Public Works and Department of Neighborhood Services.

Said platform with steps shall be maintained or removed from the public right-of-way, at such future time as they are no longer neede...
