This resolution authorizes settlement of the claim of WE Energies in the amount of $21,831.28.

Body

Whereas, The claimant, WE Energies, C.I. File No: 07-S-10, has filed a claim against the City of Milwaukee in the amount of $27,289.10; and

Whereas, The City of Milwaukee has agree to settle the claim in the amount of $21,831.28; and

Whereas, The City Attorney recommends and the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee deems it expeditious and just to settle this claim; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the proper City officers be and hereby are authorized and directed to issue a City check in the amount of $21,831.28, payable to the order of WE Energies, in full and final settlement of this claim, upon receipt of a release of claims, approved as to form and execution by the City Attorney; said amount to be charged to the Department of Infrastructure Services Account 631002 - Fund No. 0333 - Organization 5233 - Program 4323 - Sub Class R999.
