Resolution amending 070304 relating to the Motorcycle Unit Traffic and Criminal Software Reporting Project grant.

 

Analysis:                     

This resolution amends Resolution File Number #070304, adopted on June 19, 2007, which approved a Motorcycle Unit TraCS Reporting Project grant from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, Bureau of Transportation Safety, so that the Police Department can accept additional grant funding of $163,000 for a grant total of $288,000.

 

Body:

Whereas, The Common Council adopted Resolution File Number 070304 on June 19, 2007, approving a Motorcycle Unit TraCS Reporting Project grant from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, Bureau of Transportation Safety; and

 

Whereas, Additional funding of $163,000 has been provided by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, Bureau of Transportation Safety; now, therefore, be it

 

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that Resolution File Number 070304 adopted on June 19, 2007, is amended by deleting the amount “$125,000” in the 1st “Further Resolved” clause under Item 1, and inserting in lieu thereof the amount “$288,000”, thereby increasing the grant by $163,000.
