Title
A substitute ordinance relating to traffic controls in various Aldermanic Districts.
Analysis
This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned traffic requirements in various
parts of the City.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 101-7-2 of the Code relating to Designation of Non-intersection Crosswalk is amended by adding the following:
On West Highland Avenue at a point 225 feet west of North 6th Street
On West Highland Avenue at a point 280 feet west of North 6th Street
Part 2. Section 101-13-2 of the Code relating to Speed Limits is amended by adding the following:
On West Grange Avenue between South Howell Avenue and South 27th Street 30-mph
Part 3. Section 101-13-5 of the Code relating to Speed Limits is amended by striking the following:
“On West Grange Avenue between South Howell Avenue and South 6th Street 35-mph”
“On West Grange Avenue between South 6th Street and South 27th Street 35-mph”
Part 4. Section 101-13-8 of the Code relating to School Speed 20 MPH is amended by striking the following:
“On East/West Locust Street from North Palmer Street to North 2nd Street”
Part 5. Section 101-15 of the Code relating to Yield signs is amended by striking the following:
“On South Lenox Street at East Conway Street”
Part 6 Section 101-15 of the Code relating to Yield signs is amended by adding the following:
On West Brown Street at North 15th Street
Part 7. Section 101-16-1 of the Code relating to Stop signs is amended by adding the following:
On West Concordia Avenue at North 22nd Street
On West Dakota Street at South 38th Street
On West Manitoba Street at South 37th Street
On West Manitoba Street at South 39th Street
On West Manitoba Street at South 41st Street
On South 36th Street at West Manitoba Street
On South 38th Street at West Manitoba Street
