Resolution approving an amendment to an easement with Specialty Restaurants, Inc.

Analysis

This resolution would approve an amendment to an easement with Specialty Restaurants, Inc. commencing August 28, 2007.

Body:

Whereas, Specialty Restaurants, Inc. was granted an easement by the City on December 28, 1966; and

Whereas, Recent construction projects by Pier Wisconsin and the Lake Shore State Park impacted the Specialty Restaurants leasehold and easement; and

Whereas, The City and Specialty Restaurants desire to amend that easement as herein recited and to extend it to the area described on Exhibit A; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that said Common Council hereby ratifies and approves the amendment to an easement with Specialty Restaurants, Inc. and the City of Milwaukee, by and through its Board of Harbor Commissioners; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the designated officers of said government and said Board are hereby authorized and directed to execute an agreement to carry out this purpose as prepared by the City Attorney’s office.
