Analysis

This motion suspends the Class “B” Tavern license for 90 days and revokes the Tavern Dance license for the premises at 9316 W. Appleton Avenue (“Side Pocket Sports Bar”) in the 2nd aldermanic district.

Body

Whereas, The Licenses Committee received a notarized complaint requesting revocation of the Class “B” Tavern and Tavern Dance licenses for the premises at 9316 W. Appleton Avenue (“Side Pocket Sports Bar”) in the 2nd aldermanic district; and

 

Whereas, An evidentiary hearing was scheduled before the Licenses Committee on July 17th at 3:00 p.m. to consider the revocation request; and

 

Whereas, After considering the complaint, neighborhood testimony and the police report at said date and time, the Committee found that enough evidence existed to justify a 90-day suspension of the Class “B” Tavern license and a revocation of the Tavern Dance license; now, therefore, be it

 

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Class “B” Tavern license is suspended for 90 days and Tavern Dance license is revoked for the premises at 9316 W. Appleton Avenue (“Side Pocket Sports Bar”).
