Title:

Resolution approving a lease agreement with North American Biodiesel, LLC.

Analysis

This resolution would approve lease agreement with North American Biodiesel, LLC for 2.596 acres of real property located on the South Harbor Tract of the Port of Milwaukee.  The term of the lease is for ten years commencing August 1, 2007 and terminating July 31, 2017.

Body

Whereas, North American Biodiesel, LLC is an operating and manufacturing facility for the production, storage, and distribution of biodiesel products, and for the receipt, preparation, processing, storage, and distribution of related ingredients; and


Whereas, The Board of Harbor Commissioners at their meeting of June 28, 2007 acted by vote of the Board to approve this lease; now, therefore, be it

 

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that said Common Council hereby ratifies and approves the lease agreement between North American Biodiesel, LLC and the City of Milwaukee, by and through its Board of Harbor Commissioners for the period of August 1, 2007 through July 31, 2017; and, be it 

 

Further Resolved, That the designated officers of said government and of said Board of Harbor Commissioners are hereby authorized and directed to execute an agreement to carry out this purpose.
