Title
Resolution authorizing the transfer of the 2007 Community Development Block Grant funding for Neighborhood Strategic Planning #12 from the Social Development Commission to Safe & Sound, Inc.
Body
Whereas, The Social Development Commission has notified the Community Development Grants Administration (CDGA) in the attached letter of their plan to no longer provide community organizing services in NSP #12; and
Whereas, The remaining balance of the Social Development Commission 2007 CDBG funding in the amount of $30,393.77 and activity for NSP #12 is transferred to Safe & Sound, Inc.; now therefore, be it
Resolved, That the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee hereby approves the transfer of the remaining 2007 CDBG funding and activity as stated above from the Social Development Commission to Safe & Sound, Inc.; and, be it
Further Resolved, That Safe & Sound Inc. shall submit budget and activity reports in amounts and according to any conditions approved by the Common Council and in accordance with File Number 74-92-5v, to the Community Development Grants Administration and the City Comptroller for review and approval; and, be it
Further Resolved, That payments for CDBG costs incurred shall be paid in accordance with approved CDBG reimbursement policy based on the approval by the Community Development Grants Administration and the City Comptroller; and, be it
Further Resolved, That except as modified by this resolution, the guidelines for handling the Community Development Block Grant Program set forth in Common Council File Number 74-92-5v are fully applicable to the 2007 Community Development Entitlement Funding Program.
