Title
Substitute ordinance to further amend the 2007 rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service under control of the Common Council.
Analysis
This substitute ordinance makes rates of pay changes to the rates of pay to the following:
Election Commission, Department of Neighborhood Services, Department of Public Works-Infrastructure Services, Department of Public Works-Operations Division and Department of Public Works -Water Works
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 2 of ordinance File Number 060493 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under Salary Grade 006, delete the titles “Security Manager”, “Election Services Manager”, “Building Construction Inspection Assistant Supervisor”, “Code Enforcement Assistant Supervisor”, "Plumbing Inspection Assistant Supervisor”, "Electrical Inspection Assistant Supervisor”, "Landlord Training and Development Manager” and “Network Services Coordinator-Sr.”
Under Salary Grade 007, add the titles “Water Information Systems Security Manager”, “Building Codes Enforcement Supervisor”, "Environmental Code Enforcement Supervisor” and “Property Management Program Coordinator.”
Under Salary Grade 008, delete the titles “Building Construction Inspection Supervisor”, “Code Enforcement Inspection Supervisor and “Nuisance and Environmental Health Manager” and add the titles “Security Operations Manager”, “Neighborhood Improvement Project Manager”, "Building Codes Court Administrator.”
Under Salary Grade 009, add the titles “Election Services Manager”, “Business Operations Manager-Neighborhood Services”, “Building Construction Inspection Supervisor”, “Electrical Inspection Supervisor” and “Plumbing Inspection Supervisor.”
Under Salary Grade 010, add the titles “Building Codes Enforcement Manager” and “Environmental Code Enforcement Manager.”
Under Salary Grade 012, add the title “Building Construction Inspection Division Manager.”
Under Salary Grade 013, delete the title “Neighborhood Services Operations Manager.”
Under Salary Grade 014, add the title “Neighborhood Services Operations Manager.”
Part 2. Section 8 of ordinance File Number 060493 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 22, 2006 - October 22, 2006):
Under Pay Range 549, add the title “Construction Materials Inspector.”
Part 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Part 4. The provisions of Part 2 of this ordinance are deemed to have been in force and effect from and after Pay Period 22, 2006 (October 22, 2006).
The provisions of all other parts of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after the first day of the first pay period following passage and publication.
Part 5. This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
