Title
A substitute ordinance relating to traffic controls in various Aldermanic Districts.
Analysis
This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned traffic requirements in various parts
of the City.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 101-7-2 of the Code relating to Designation of Non-intersection Crosswalk is amended by adding the following:
On North Water Street at a point 275 feet west of North Humboldt Boulevard
Part 2. Section 101-16-1 of the Code relating to Stop signs is amended by adding the following:
On North 14th Street at West Congress Street
On North 16th Street at West Congress Street
On North 18th Street at West Congress Street
On North 19th Place at West Congress Street
On North 20th Street at West Congress Street
On North 22nd Street at West Congress Street
On North 22nd Street at West Roosevelt Drive
On West Olive Street at West Roosevelt Drive
On West Beckett Avenue at West Ruby Avenue
On West Congress Street and North 15th Street in all directions
On West Congress Street and North 17th Street in all directions
On West Congress Street and North 19th Street in all directions
Part 3. Section 101-16-2 of the Code relating to Through Highways is amended by striking the following:
“On West Congress Street from the west line of North Green Bay Avenue to east line of North Teutonia Avenue”
“On West Roosevelt Drive from West Congress Street to the east line of North Teutonia Avenue”
