Title

Substitute ordinance relating to the change in zoning from Single-Family Residential to Single-Family Residential on lands located on the North Side of West Good Hope Road and East of North 124th Street, in the 5th Aldermanic District.

Analysis

This substitute ordinance allows for the development of a residential subdivision known as River Highlands.

Body

Resolved, That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, do ordain as follows:

 

Part 1. There is added to the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances a new section to read as follows:

 

Section 295-501(1)(a).0006. The zoning map is amended to change the zoning for lands in the Southwest 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 18, Town 8 North, Range 21 East, in the City of Milwaukee, County of Milwaukee, State of Wisconsin, bounded and described as follows: beginning at the Southwest corner of the Southwest 1/4 of said Section, thence North 00°07'34" East 1323.89 feet to a point on the north line of the South 1/2 of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 18; thence North 86°51'45" East, along said north line, 487.50 feet to a point; thence South 08°45'47" East, 776.23 feet to a point; thence South 32°44'41" East, 206.66 feet to a point; thence South 00°07'34" West, 370.00 feet to a point on the south line of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 18; thence South 86°50'55" West, along said south line 720.00 feet to the point of beginning, said described lands containing 808,294 square feet or (18.5559 acres) excluding therefrom lands deeded for public road purposes (Good Hope Road), from Single-Family Residential (RS2) to Single-Family Residential (RS4).
