Title
Substitute resolution authorizing the Department of Employee Relations to enter into a three year extension with ProcessWorks for flexible benefit services to City employees in 2008, 2009 and 2010.
Body
Whereas, The City of Milwaukee has requested a contract extension with ProcessWorks, the current vendor for flexible benefits, including medical, dependent care and parking; and
Whereas, ProcessWorks has proposed rates for 2008 of $3.75 per member per month, 2009 of $3.85 per member per month, and 2010 of $3.95 per member per month; and
Whereas, There are currently over 975 City employees participating in one or more of the flexible spending programs; and
Whereas, The vendor has also provided employees with the option of direct deposit services or a debit card; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Department of Employee Relations is authorized to enter into an extension of the current agreement with ProcessWorks to provide flexible spending vendor services in 2008-2009-2010.
