Whereas, On February 6, 2007, the Common Council adopted Resolution File Number 061056 relating to creating a task force to examine acts of violence in and around alcohol beverage establishments and make recommendations relating to the use of surveillance equipment in and around alcohol beverage establishments and licensee accountability for problem alcohol beverage establishments; and
Whereas, The Task Force was directed to present a written report of its findings and recommendations to the Common Council by May 7, 2007; and
Whereas, It is necessary to amend the resolution in order to provide additional time for the task force to present a written report of its findings and recommendations to the Common Council; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that Common Council Resolution Number 061056, is amended by deleting in the sixth “Further Resolved” clause the text “90 days” and inserting in lieu thereof “270 days.”
