Body
Whereas, Near North Partners requested permission to install and maintain a covered walk and decorative ledges in the east sidewalk area of North Van Buren Street; and

Whereas, Permission for said items was granted in 1986 under Common Council File Number 85-1950; and

Whereas, The covered walk has been removed from the public right-of-way; and

Whereas, Jimbill LLC now owns the property; and

Whereas, For the liability to be formally transferred to the current property owner, the Common Council needs to adopt an amending resolution; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that Common Council File Number 85-1950 is hereby rescinded; and, be it

Further Resolved, That Jimbill LLC, 2185 Ryders Lane, Highland Park, Illinois 60035, is hereby granted the following special privilege:

To keep and maintain three decorative ledges each 8 inches in width and 1-foot 7-inches in height. Said ledges project 1 foot 2 inches into the east, 10-foot wide sidewalk area of North Van Buren Street. The top of the ledges are 6 feet above the adjacent walk grade. Said ledges are centered approximately 78, 93 and 109 feet north of the northline of East Kilbourn Avenue.

Said above-mentioned ledges shall be used, kept and maintained to the satisfaction of the Commissioners of Public Works and Department of Neighborhood Services.
