Analysis
This ordinance revises various provisions of the code for purposes of correcting errors, clarifying language and eliminating obsolete provisions.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1. Section 76-20-13-a of the code is amended to read:
76-20. Dry Cleaning Establishments with Category I, II, IIIA and IIIB Equipment.
13. PENALTIES AND ENFORCEMENT.
a. Any person, firm or corporation who violates this section or fails to obey an order of the commissioner to conform to this section shall be liable upon conviction to a Class [[I]] >>J<< penalty under s. 61-16.

Part 2. Section 240-23-3 of the code is amended to read:
240-23. Basement Rooms.
3. [[Two means of exiting]]>>Exiting<< shall be [[required and]] in compliance with ch. Comm 21, Wis. Adm. Code, as amended.

Part 3. Section 295-407-5-b-2 of the code is amended to read:
295-407. Signs.
5. PROHIBITED SIGNS.
b-2. Signs with messages that change not more than once every 60 seconds>>, except as specified in sub. 3-b<<.

Part 4. Section 312-14-3 of the code is repealed.
(Note: the provisions being repealed read as follows:
312-14. Citywide Block Watch Council.
3. TERMS. Members shall serve as term of 2 years and may be reappointed or reelected by the appropriate authority.)

Part 5. Section 312-14-4 of the code is renumbered 312-14-3.
