Body
Whereas, The City is planning to relay an existing 72-inch diameter in North Hubbard Street between East Lloyd Street and East Garfield Avenue; and
Whereas, MMSD owns an intercepting structure that the 72-inch diameter City sewer is connected to and is planning to reconstruct the intercepting structure; and
Whereas, MMSD is willing to reimburse the City for adding the reconstruction of the intercepting structure work to the City contract for relaying the existing 72-inch diameter sewer at their own expense as detailed in the Intergovernmental Cooperation Agreement, said agreement is hereto attached and made part of this resolution; and
Whereas, This agreement must be approved by a MMSD resolution expected to be voted on at the April 30, 2007 MMSD commission meeting; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Commissioner of Public Works is hereby directed to execute an Intergovernmental Cooperation Agreement with MMSD to construct an intercepting structure in North Hubbard Street at a point 175 feet north of East Lloyd Street; and, be it
Further Resolved, That said Agreement is subject to the City Attorney’s review and approval and any non-substantive changes made by the City Attorney.
