Title
Substitute ordinance to further amend the 2007 offices and positions in the City Service under control of the Common Council.

Analysis
This substitute ordinance makes positions changes to the following departments:
Department of City Development, Fire Department, Health Department, Housing Trust Fund Advisory Board and Police Department.

Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 060494 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:

Under “Department of City Development, General Management and Policy Development Decision Unit, Milwaukee Economic Development Corporation (MEDC)”, delete the title “Milwaukee Economic Development Corporation Director (X)(Y)” and add the title “Neighborhoods Business Development Manager (X)(Y).”

Under “Fire Department, Firefighting Division Decision Unit”, add one position of “Fire Lieutenant”; under “Paramedic Service” delete one position of “Paramedic Field Lieutenant (C)(I)/Fire Paramedic Field Lieutenant (C)(I).”

Under “Health Department, Administration Division”, delete one position of “Office Supervisor II” and add one position of “Administrative Assistant IV.”

Under “Police Department, Administrative Services Decision Unit, Communications Division”, delete one position of “Police Alarm Operator (G)” and add one position of “Police Dispatcher (G)”; Under “Police Department, Operations Decision Unit, Criminal Investigation Bureau, Intelligence Division, Crime Analysis”, add one position of “Crime & Intelligence Specialist”; Under “Assigned As Needed Within Decision Unit”, delete two positions of “Police Officer (K)” and add two positions of “Detective (K)” and amend footnote “(K)” to read as follows: “High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) Grant.
