Title

Substitute ordinance to further amend the 2007 rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service under control of the Common Council.

 

Analysis

This substitute ordinance makes rates of pay changes to the rates of pay to the following:

Office of the Comptroller, Department of City Development, Employes’ Retirement System, Police Department

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

 

Part 1. Section 2 of ordinance File Number 060493 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:

 

Under Salary Grade 009, add the title “Crime & Intelligence Specialist.”

 

Under Salary Grade 010, delete the titles of “Public Debt Specialist” and “Revenue and Financial Services Specialist.”

 

Under Salary Grade 011, delete the title “Information Systems Manager-ERS.”

 

Under Salary Grade 012, add the titles of “Public Debt Specialist”, “Revenue and Financial Services Specialist”, “Neighborhoods Business Development Manager”, “Information Systems Manager-ERS 3/” and add footnote “3/” to read as follows: “Ability to recruit at any step with the approval of Employee Relations and the Chair of Finance and Personnel.”

 

Under Salary Grade 016, delete the title “Milwaukee Economic Development Corporation Director.”

 

Part 2.  All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

 

Part 3.  The provisions of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after the first day of the first pay period following passage and publication.

 

Part 4.  This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
