Substitute resolution approving the Land Disposition Report for the Redevelopment Authority properties at 3701-03, 3707, 3709-11 and 3713-15 West North Avenue for sale to Wisconsin Credit Union Shared Service Centers, Inc., for development, in the 15th Aldermanic District.
Analysis
This substitute resolution will permit the Redevelopment Authority to convey said land according to the conditions in the Land Disposition Report.
Body
Whereas, Wisconsin Credit Union Shared Service Centers, Inc., has offered to purchase the properties at 3701-03, 3707, 3709-11 and 3713-15 West North Avenue for the development of a credit union office and retail building; and
Whereas, On March 15, 2007, the Redevelopment Authority held a Public Hearing on the proposed land sale as required by Wisconsin Statutes; and
Whereas, Pursuant to Wisconsin Statues and as a condition precedent to the sale, lease or transfer of land, the Redevelopment Authority submits herewith a Land Disposition Report describing the terms and conditions of the proposed sale; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Land Disposition Report dated March 15, 2007, with respect to the proposed sale of the following properties, is approved:
REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA
Blight Elimination/North Avenue Commercial Gateway
PARCEL ADDRESSES
3701-03, 3707, 3709-11 and 3713-15 West North Avenue
REDEVELOPER
Wisconsin Credit Union Shared Service Centers, Inc.
; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the proper City officials are directed to execute an Emerging Business Enterprises Agreement with the Redeveloper and the Redevelopment Authority and any other City of Milwaukee easements or documents necessary to close the transaction.
