Resolution accepting a sewer easement document from St. Marcus Lutheran Evangelical Church, located at 2215 North Palmer Street.

Analysis

This resolution accepts Sewer Easement SE-2782, located in St. Marcus Lutheran Evangelical Church’s property at 2215 North Palmer Street.  The easement is located at the vacated southerly 128.2 feet of the alley bounded by East Garfield Avenue, East North

Avenue, North Palmer Street and North 1st Street.

Body

Whereas, The City of Milwaukee vacated in 1996 the southerly 128.2 feet of the alley bounded by East Garfield Avenue, East North Avenue, North Palmer Street and North 1st Street; and

 

Whereas, As a part of the vacation, St. Marcus Lutheran Evangelical Church was required to grant a sewer easement for sewer and drainage purposes to the City over the vacated portion of said alley; and

 

Whereas, Sewer Easement SE-2782 will allow the storm water runoff from a portion of the remaining public alley to flow into a catch basin located within the vacated portion of the alley; now, therefore, be it

 

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the City of Milwaukee hereby accepts Sewer Easement SE-2782, said easement document being attached to Common Council File Number 061365 and incorporated in this resolution by reference as though set forth in full; and, be it

 

Further Resolved, That after said easement document shall be recorded and copies distributed by the Department of Public Works.
