Substitute resolution amending a special privilege for change of ownership to AT&T for two private harp lights in the public right-of-way for the premises at 722-40 North Broadway.
Body
Whereas, Ameritech Corporation requested permission to install and maintain two private pedestrian-scale harp-style lights in the east sidewalk area of North Broadway at the main entrance to the building; and

Whereas, Permission for said harp lights was granted in 2001 under Common Council File Number 010152; and

Whereas, AT&T now owns the property; and

Whereas, For the liability to be formally transferred to the current property owner, the Common Council needs to adopt an amending resolution; therefore, now, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that Common Council File Number 010152 is hereby rescinded; and, be it

Further Resolved, That AT&T, Attn: William Repech, 722-40 North Broadway, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53202, is hereby granted the following special privilege:

To keep and maintain two private pedestrian-scale harp-style lights in the 20-foot wide east sidewalk area of North Broadway. Said harp lights are centered approximately 17 feet 6 inches west of the eastline of North Broadway and approximately 168 and 194 feet south of the southline of East Mason Street.

Said above-mentioned harp lights shall be used, kept and maintained to the satisfaction of the Commissioners of Public Works and Department of Neighborhood Services.

Said harp lights shall be maintained or removed from the public right-of-way, at such future time as they are no longer needed, to the satisfaction of the Commissioners of Public Works and Department of Neighborhood S...
