Minutes note: The court reporter was sworn in. The question was put: Have the members of the Common Council read the Report and Recommendations of the Licenses Committee, and any written exceptions, if filed, in these matters? All members indicated that they had done so. Ald. Bauman moved, notwithstanding the recommendation of the committee, to return the application of Ijaz Gill for the premises at 800 N. 35th St. ("JJ Sub") in the Fourth Aldermanic District, to committee. There was no objection. The question was put: Are the following applicants or their Counsel present and wish to address the Council?: Antonios Anagnou was present by counsel, but did not wish to speak. Ijaz Gill was not present. John Broderson was present by counsel. Ald. Witkowiak moved that the Common Council enter the Committee of the Whole for the purpose of taking testimony with respect to these matters. Attorney Gerald Mayhew appeared on behalf of Mr. Broderson and addressed the Common Council. Assistant City Attorney Thomas Miller appeared on behalf of the office of the City Attorney. Ald. Witkowiak moved that the Committee of the Whole rise. There was no objection. The question was put: Are there any motions relating to these matters?
