Title
A substitute ordinance relating to the change in zoning from Two-Family Residential to Local Business, for parking, on land located on the west side of South 6th Street, south of West Historic Mitchell Street, in the 12th Aldermanic District.
Analysis
This zoning change was requested by Mitchell Street Group, LLC, and will allow the properties located at 1729, 1733 and 1733-A South 6th Street, currently zoned residential, to be combined with properties to the north, which are zoned commercial. The applicant intends to construct a surface parking lot on the sites.

Resolved, That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, do ordain as follows:
Part 1. There is added to the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances a new section to read as follows:
Section 295-601.2.0051. The zoning map is amended to change the zoning for 1729 South 6th Street, Tax Key No. 461-0521-100; 1733 South 6th Street, Tax Key No. 461-0519-000; and 1733-A South 6th Street, Tax Key No. 461-0520-000, from Two-Family Residential (RT4) to Local Business (LB2).
