Title
Resolution relative to the acceptance and funding of the Analysis of Impediments award from Milwaukee County.
Analysis
This resolution allows the City of Milwaukee - Community Development Grants Administration to accept the Analysis of Impediments award in the amount of $24,900 from Milwaukee County.  The funding represents Milwaukee County's share of the project.
Body
Whereas, The Department of Housing and Urban Development requires entitlement communities receiving Community Development Block Grant funding to periodically prepare an Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice (AI); and
 
Whereas, The Milwaukee County has approved the award of $24,900 to the City of Milwaukee - Community Development Grants Administration to coordinate a countywide AI report; and
 
Whereas, The operation of this award from December 23, 2013 through December 31, 2014 would cost $24,900 which will be provided by Milwaukee County; now therefore, be it
 
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, the Community Development Grants Administration shall accept this grant without further approval unless the terms of the grant change as indicated in Section 304-81, Milwaukee Code of Ordinances; and, be it
 
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized to:
 
1.      Commit funds within the Project/Grant Parent of the 2014 Special Revenue Grant
And Aid Project Funds, the following amounts for the program/project titled
Analysis of Impediments - Milwaukee County:

2.      Create the necessary Grant and Aid Project/Grant and Project/Grant levels; budget against these Project/Grant values the amount required under the grant agreement;
 
3.      Establish the necessary City Share Project values; and, be it
 
 
Further Revolved, That these funds are budgeted for the Community Development Grants Administration which is authorized to:
 
1.      Expend from the amount budgeted for specified purposes as indicated in the grant budget and incur costs consistent with the award date;
 
2.  Enter into subcontracts as detailed in the grant budget.
