This resolution grants a special privilege to Advanced Childcare LLC to construct and maintain several sets of steps, raised planters and a retaining wall in the public right-of-way for the premises at 2335-2339 West Greenfield Avenue.
Body
Whereas, The applicant is requesting permission to construct and maintain several sets of concrete steps, a concrete block retaining wall, and several raised stationary planter beds in the public right-of-way; and

Whereas, Said items may only legally encroach into the public right-of-way by granting of a special privilege resolution adopted by the Common Council; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that Advanced Childcare LLC, c/o Chrepohu Yachrechohn, 7437 West Waterford Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53220 is hereby granted the following special privileges:

1. To construct and maintain a 1-foot 4-inch tall concrete block retaining wall projecting 1 foot 10 inches into the south, 12-foot wide sidewalk area of West Greenfield Avenue. Said 1-foot 1-inch wide retaining wall commences at a point approximately 24 feet east of the eastline of South 24th Street and extends east 36 feet 6 inches.

2. To construct and maintain a set of concrete steps with platform and handrails projecting 1 foot 10 inches into the south, 12-foot wide sidewalk area of West Greenfield Avenue. Said steps and platform commence at a point approximately 14 feet east of the eastline of South 24th Street and extend east 7 feet 11 inches. The platform is 2 feet 3 inches tall.
