Body:
Whereas, Common Council File 060082, adopted May 31,2006, authorizes the Commissioner of Public Works to accept private contributions to improve maintenance of City boulevard medians where gateway signs have been placed; and
Whereas, Common Council file 060082 did not include authorization of the appropriation and expenditure of the contributions received; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that File Number 060082 be amended to include authorization of appropriation and expenditure of such funds; and, be it
Further Resolved, That upon receipt and deposit of these funds, the City Comptroller is directed to transfer appropriations and estimated revenue from the 2007 Special Purpose Account for Contributions (0001-2110-0001-D001-006300) and the Estimated Revenue Account for Contributions (0001-9990-0001-009850) to the Department of Public Works budget (0001-5450-0001-DXXX-006300) and/or (0001-5450-0001-DXXX-006000), and the Public Works estimated revenue account (0001-5010-0001-009850), up to the amount of $100,000.
