Analysis

This resolution directs the proper City officers to execute a Quit Claim Deed (QCD-2781) document conveying the storm sewer located in North 76^th Street between West Florist Avenue and West Douglas Avenue. 

Body

Whereas, There is approximately 486 feet of existing City of Milwaukee 15-inch diameter storm sewer in North 76^th Street between West Florist Avenue and West Douglas Avenue; and

Whereas, The existing storm sewer is required for the drainage of North 76^th Street; and

Whereas, The City does not require said existing storm sewer for service; and

Whereas, The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WISDOT) has agreed to accept ownership of said existing storm sewer; and

Whereas, The conveyed storm sewer will be maintained by WISDOT; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to execute a Quit Claim Deed (QCD-2781) document, a copy of which is attached to Common Council File Number 061206 and incorporated in this resolution by reference as though set forth in full; and, be it

Further Resolved, That after said document has been executed by the proper City officers, it shall be forwarded to the Department of Public Works for processing, recording and distribution.
