This resolution grants a special privilege to S & P Investments, LLC for a barrier free access ramp for the premises at 3147-49 North 5th Street.
Body
Whereas, S & P Investments, LLC is requesting permission to install a barrier free access ramp within the public right-of-way; and

Whereas, Said barrier free access ramp may only legally encroach into the public right-of-way by granting of a special privilege resolution adopted by the Common Council; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that S & P Investments, LLC, P. O. Box 511834, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53203 is hereby granted the following special privilege:

To construct and maintain a wooden barrier free access ramp with platform and handrail projecting 1 foot 6 inches into the west 10-foot wide sidewalk area of North 5th Street. Said barrier free access ramp with platform and handrail commences at a point approximately 587 feet south of the southline of West Ring Street and ends at a point 11 feet to the south. Said platform is about 4 feet 6 inches above the sidewalk grade and supported by three 4-inch square wood posts.

Said above-mentioned barrier free access ramp shall be used, kept and maintained to the satisfaction of the Commissioners of Public Works and Department of Neighborhood Services. All necessary permits shall have been obtained prior to the granting of this special privilege.

Said barrier free access ramp shall be maintained or removed from the public right-of-way, at such future time as it is no longer needed, to the satisfaction of the Commissioners of Public Works and Department of Neighborhood Services.
