Analysis

This resolution would approve Extension of Lease Agreement with Support Terminal Services, Inc. for land located on the Port’s South Harbor Tract.

Body

Whereas Support Terminal Services, Inc. has been a long term tenant in good standing with the Port of Milwaukee and has an existing Lease dated October 30, 1990 which allows for four successive extension periods of five years each; and

 

Whereas, Support Terminal Services, Inc. and the Port of Milwaukee have agreed to a third extension commencing August 17, 2005 and terminating August 16, 2010; now, therefore, be it

 

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that said Common Council hereby ratifies and approves the Extension to Lease Agreement with Support Terminal Services, Inc. and the City of Milwaukee, by and through its Board of Harbor Commissioners for lease of land located on the Port’s South Harbor Tract; and, be it

 

Further Resolved, That the designated officers of said government and said Board are hereby authorized and directed to execute an agreement to carry out this purpose.
