This resolution grants a special privilege to Pinkey’s Capital Auto Body Corporation for four excess door swings in the public right-of-way for the premises at 120 West Melvina Street.
Body
Whereas, Pinkey’s Capital Auto Body Corporation is requesting permission to install four door swings project into the public right-of-way more than the 12-inches allowed under Section 245-4-8 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances; and

Whereas, Said door swings may only legally encroach into the public right-of-way by granting of a special privilege resolution adopted by the Common Council; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that Pinkey’s Capital Auto Body Corporation, 3859 North Richards Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53212 is hereby granted the following special privilege:

To construct and maintain four door swings projecting 3 feet, when fully open, into the public right-of-way in excess of the 12 inches allowed under Section 245-4-8 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances. The first of the doors will be centered approximately 67 feet north of the northline of West Melvina Street and will project into the east 15-foot wide sidewalk area of North 2nd Street. The second door will be centered approximately 47 feet east of the eastline of North 2nd Street and will project into West Melvina Street. The third and fourth doors will be centered approximately 44 and 107 feet north of the northline of West Melvina Street and will project into the north-south alley bounded by North 1st Street, North 2nd Street, West Capitol Drive and West Melvina Street.
